Skärgårdsradion launches on 105.9 in Stockholm

Skärgårdsradion has started broadcasting on 105.9 MHz in Stockholm. The new frequency gives the station a stronger presence across the Stockholm area.

The launch took place on 1 August as Sweden entered a new commercial radio licence period.

Skärgårdsradion continues its focus on Swedish music, archipelago news, coastal weather and local reports. The station is also available on its existing local FM frequencies, via DAB+ and online.

Listeners may need to run a new automatic station scan or save 105.9 MHz as a new preset in their radio.
